We all know that the best part of April isn’t the lovely new spring weather…it’s the TAX RETURNS. If you are looking for a great family trip with plenty of options to make the most of your income tax returns, check out the Tanger Outlets in Loctus Grove. Tanger’s has a long standing tradition of providing the best outlet shopping experiences and Locust Grove is no different. It’s the best spending and only short drive outside the Atlanta perimeter. You can save anywhere from 50%-80% on items of a really great quality. For extra bonus coupons or information on special events that Tanger’s might be hosting check out their TangerClub. You can find more information on TangerClub at http://www.tangeroutlet.com/locustgrove/coupons.
Tanger outlet center
You can arrive early at Tanger to get the best parking. Don’t worry about attendants or valets. Parking is free. The Locust Grove Center operates from 9:00am - 9:00pm Monday through Saturday. Sunday you can purchase all you want between 11:00am - 7:00pm.
So just what can you expect while shopping at Tanger’s? It’s a lot more than just clothing. Well for starters if you are looking to spruce up your home there are plenty of furniture stores. Tanger’s at Locust Grove is home to stores like Kirkland, Corningware Corelle & More, not to mention Kitchen Collections. So from your sofa to silverware, they’ve got home furnishings completely covered.
At Tanger’s (by the way if you are curious how to pronounce the name it rhymes with hanger) you are sure to find something for every member of the family, so let’s start with the smallest and work our way up. Of course, the smallest member of most families is little FIDO! ? At Tanger’s there’s even a place for you to save on stuff for your pets. Petsense offers the best of collars, toys, bowls, and treats at all discount prices. So don’t forget about Fido just because he couldn’t join you for the day trip.
All joking aside, we all know how hard and expensive it can be to keep children stylish. Tanger’s offers a wide variety of clothing sources for the littlest members of your family. Stores like Carter’s, Grandbaby Treasures, Gymboree, and OshKosh B’Gosh, can certainly help you find all the t-shirts, shorts, overalls, and onesies you might need. As precious as they can be as children, we all know that kids don’t stay kids forever. For the teenagers on the trip, try sending them to American Eagle Outfitters or the PacSun Store. I’m certain any teenage girl would be happy to shop til she drops at Aeropostale, Old Navy, or rue21too.
One of my personal favorite parts of the shopping experience is of course shoes! At Tanger’s there’s something for everyone in the family. You can keep the toes of your little ones safe and snug at stores like The Children’s Place. For the lady of the house there’s a Nine West Outlet. If you like your footware a little more relaxed you can definitely check out the Easy Spirit Outlet. And for the athlete’s in the family there’s a Sketcher and Reebok Stores in the outlet complex.
Now we certainly can’t forget about Mom and Dad during this day. If you want to keep the men busy while you shoe shop ladies, try sending them to the Ralph Lauren Polo Store. They are sure to find great deals on jeans and of course polo shirts. You might also have them stop by the Nautica Store, Brooks Brother’s, Under Amrour, Van Heusen, or Wilson’s Leather. They are plenty of great steals on everything from cufflinks and ties, to socks and boxers to be found in these stores.
As for Mom, there are plenty of opportunities to add to your work wardrobe at stores like Ann Taylor, dressbarn, Jones New York, or Chicos. If you are searching for comfortable or casual, you should head into Levi’s store, Jockey, or Lucky Brand Jeans store.
Now all this shopping is sure to make even the most competitive shopper hungry. Within the outlet center itself, the food offerings are limited. There is a Denny’s and a cookie or pretzel shop here and there, but nothing of real sustenance. However, don’t fret, because there are plenty of places in the immediate surrounding areas. Your best bet would probably be to venture down Bill Gardner Parkway where you will find a : Gabino's Mexican Grille, Huddle House, Jimmy's Steak & Seafood, McDonald's, Pizza Hut, San Diego Mexican Restaurant, Waffle House, and a Zaxby's. No matter how big, small, or picky your family’s appetite, there’s something to satisfy the rumbling stomachs.
Just because you’ve come out for a day of shopping doesn’t mean the fun has to stop there. Since you are in the vicinity, there are many fun and family friendly attractions close to the Tanger’s Outlet. For example, try visiting the Georgia Music Hall of Fame venturing toward Macon. You can also stop by the Atlanta Motor Speedway. Located just off Highways 19 and 41, it’s only a quick trip from your shopping experience.
If your journey home takes you through the McDonough area, you should definitely stop by the Hazlehurst House. Hazelhurst offers one of the finest dining experiences in the area. If the kids have been extra well behaved try swinging them by Noah's Ark. (Be sure to check their website first, as they may be closed due to weather at www.noahs-ark.org) Located closer to Griffin, GA, Noah’s Ark is an animal rehabilitation center that offers a wide variety of activities for kids to enjoy. As a matter of fact, why not send the kids off with a chaperone/husband, so you can enjoy a full day of shopping for yourself!
