Nothing says come out and enjoy the world better than authentic Latin food right at your back door.  Presto is a combination of different Latin American cultures, from the dishes all the way to the drinks. The inside of the restaurant is lively decorated with different festive artifacts displayed all over the walls and decorations hanging from pretty much everywhere. The hostess was quite friendly and welcoming when we entered and showed us to our table with such a huge smile on her face that it made me wonder what have I done to deserve such a warm welcome.

The first waiter came up, and right away began speaking Spanish. I am always interested in learning a new language, however now might not be the best time. After he found out that we did not speak even a speck of Spanish, he went and brought back someone who spoke English. I was pretty familiar with the typical Mexican menu by now and I knew what type of food to expect when going to a Hispanic restaurant.

However, there were a few things on this menu that I have not seen on others. One in particular was the Cuban sandwich. I am a man that loves his sandwiches and the Cuban sandwich sounded quite manly to me, so I ordered it. Next I looked at the drinks and ordered an apple soda, I have never had one and it sounded quite interesting to try.

The soda came out first in a cold bottle and a straw, no cup. The soda tasted quite delicious and I was barely halfway finished with it when my sandwiches arrived.  The look of the sandwich itself let me know beforehand that I was in for a new experience. I picked up the sandwich and took the first bite. Right away I was able to tell the pros and cons of the sandwich. The bread was a little on the lacking side, it was too greasy and became a bit soggy after a while.

The meat however was quite delicious and well prepared, and the cheese was nicely melted and complimented the sandwich just as well. I believe that the sandwich is good for ordering something quick to go, not for something that should be reheated at home.  As we were preparing to leave, we were invited to come back later that night for a fiesta around 9:30 involving live music and dancing. I was quite interested in the idea of dancing to Latin music; however I had already made previous plans.
