The sesame chicken combo from China Kitchen.
It is very obvious that China Kitchen operates primarily from their delivery service. There dining facility is extremely small. I went there on a cooler day and thought I was going to freeze to death. It’s almost as if they want to run their customers out of the establishment with the subarctic temperatures. They also do not offer the buffet that many dine in customers have come to expect from Chinese food restaurants. However, they make up for this with low prices. They do have a pretty wide delivery area. While the establishment is near the I75 exit, I live near the Marietta Square and have ordered deliver from them before. Their drivers are also relatively quick.
Quick Review
- Food 3/5- It’s about average for Americanized Chinese Food
- Service 4/5- I’m giving the cashier credit, she knew English, Spanish, and Chinese well enough to interact with her customers
- Atmosphere 1/5- A very small dining facility that was unnaturally cold.
- Price 3/5- Again about average for Americanized Chinese Food.

China Kitchen Interior.
If you are ordering for those with special dietary needs or vegetarians, China Kitchen is actually pretty good at accommodating such requirements. They do have an entire section on their menu that features tofu items, such as Ma Po Tofu and Mongolian Tofu. Also for the health conscious they offer Brown Rice at only .75 cents a pint.
If you swing by during lunch, they have some great lunch specials. At China Kitchen the following combos are all under $5: fried rice (chicken, beef, pork, shrimp), lo mein (same options as fried rice), garlic chicken, moo goo gai pan, broccoli chicken, mandarin fried chicken, vegetable chicken, hunan chicken, pepper chicken, almond friend chicken, chicken with garlic sauce, general tso chicken, sesame chicken, sweet and sour chicken or pork, vegetable deluxe, broccoli with garlic sauce, vegetable tofu, and Ma Po tofu. For only $5, you can’t really beat that deal. Each lunch combo also comes with your choice fried rice, white rice an egg roll, and soup.

For a few extra pennies you can even get options like curry shrimp and beef and broccoli. Lunch specials are only available from 11:00-3:00 Monday through Saturday. However many of the same options are offered for just a dollar more as “dinner specials.” They are listed as combination specials on the menu and come with one fried chicken wing and a drink to help accommodate the price hike.
For this student in your life this is definitely the Chinese food spot for them. The menu of China kitchen features several deals include .75 cents drinks for students with their id. For the nonstudents in your life there’s Free small chicken fried rice with a purchase of $30 or more and if your bill reaches $40 the rice can be “upgraded” to shrimp fried rice.
In terms of dessert items you aren’t going to find to many, so don’t get your hopes to high. They do offer fried donuts as a appetizers, but that’s it!
Overall if you are in need of some quick and cheap Chinese food, China Kitchen is the place for you. This, however, is definitely not the place for trying to impress a date or relatives.
