Cheeseburger Bobby’s, located in Suwanee, a northern suburb of Atlanta, GA, is a locally-owned burger joint off Peachtree Parkway. Not only do they feature great deals on all of their meals, but their burgers are also some of the best I’ve ever had. A great place to take the kids, Cheeseburger Bobby’s is a great choice for families of all shapes and sizes. A friendly atmosphere, great service, and the great smell of burgers on the grill are all part of what makes this dive so great.

Cheeseburger Bobby’s is open Sunday through Thursday from 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM, and until 10:00 PM on Friday and Saturday.  Their address is 3630 Peachtree Parkway, Suwanee, GA 30024. It is very easy to get to, as it’s off 141, in between McGinnis Ferry road and John’s Creek Parkway. It is located in John’s Creek Town Center.  If coming from the south, it will be on your left, in the same parking lot as Kohl’s Department store. You can also visit their website at http://www.cheeseburgerbobbys.com, or call them at 678-381-2022.

Here’s some basic information you should know before going to Cheeseburger Bobby’s:

•    Style: Burgers and hot dogs, All-American
•    Dress: Completely casual
•    Atmosphere: Kid/Family-friendly, bright, TV’s
•    Price: Cheap (A family of four could get our for around $20)
•    Great for: Families, kids, teenagers
•    Specialties: Almost always have a coupon out, Chili-Cheese burger

After going to Bobby’s my first time, it became a restaurant I frequent quite often. The first time I went it was just myself and one other person dining in, and it was a great experience. We were looking for something quick and easy, nothing too fancy, and we had gotten these coupons for a place called Cheeseburger Bobby’s on http://www.groupon.com. Seeing as it was near to where we were, we decided to try it out, as we both really wanted a burger, but were sick of fast food and McDonald’s. From the moment I walked through the door, I knew I wasn’t going to be disappointed.

The atmosphere was great, and I was immediately greeted by a sea of smiling faces in the staff, as well as the happy customers. There were many things to choose from, and although my friend went for the classic cheeseburger and fry meal, I decided to be a little more adventurous, and go for one of their specialties, the chili-cheese burger.

Bobby’s is a counter-service, self seating restaurant, so you basically get to watch them cook and assemble your burger, which, I noticed from the family in front of us, is great for the kids. After receiving your order, you can then choose from a wide array of topping they have set out for you, ranging from onions and pickles to extra cheese and hot peppers. After choosing everything I wanted to top my already overflowing burger, I sat down to dive into my creation. It was by far the best chili-cheese anything I had ever tasted in my life. Not only was is so big, I could hardly finish it, but it was so good I never wanted to stop eating it! A word of caution though: Their melted cheese that comes with the chili is spicy. Opt to get it on the side if heat is not your thing.

Cheeseburger Bobby’s also offers pretty much any type of burger you could think of, as well as hot dogs and sides like French fries and other classic All-American food. They do not sell liquor, and have a self-serve fountain drink station with Coca-Cola products. They also have tea and water. Their meals are not expensive at all, and they often have coupons out on their “meal deals”.

Just a pointer, if you’re planning on eating at Bobby’s, try parking in the Kohl’s parking lot and shopping for a few minutes before hand. Many a time I have come out from a work-shift at Kohl’s to find Cheeseburger Bobby’s coupons waiting for me on my car window.
Bobby’s a great place to take kids of all ages, as well as a great place for maybe a fun night out or a first date. From its friendly atmosphere to its casual and inexpensive fare, it definitely makes for a great time. Their staff is very helpful, their food is to die for, and their prices are even better. Cheeseburger Bobby’s is a great place to go when you’re looking for a great burger.
