Antica Posta offers quintessential Tuscan cooking. A small yellow house dating back to 1923 is the perfect setting for Antica Posta Ristorante Toscano. While owning a sister restaurant in Venice, Italy, this proprietor brings authentic Italian cuisines to Buckhead. Three separate dining areas keep the atmosphere personal and charming.Open nightly for dinner, the exhibition kitchen features Tuscan specialties, signature meat and fish dishes, homemade pastas and breads, and delicious appetizers. Antica Posta is a popular in Atlanta for their italian osso bucco. Osso bucco is braised veal shank cooked bone-in with the marrow intact and served with roasted potatoes. Antica Posta's cozy dining rooms and elegant Bar and Lounge beckon diners to experience a touch of Tuscany nestled in the archetype Buckhead! Much-requested starters include excellent carpaccio, rabbit and arugula salad, and crostini with chicken liver sauce and duck ragù. Gnocchi al pesto also elicits raves, as do grilled rib-eyes, osso buco, and rosemary-marinated rack of lamb.
Don’t worry if you can’t pronounce Gnocchetti di patate al ragu di coniglia, the helpful servers will translate and bring you homemade potato dumplings in traditional Tuscan rabbit-meat sauce. A great wine selection is supported by a full service bar to compliment your entrée.
