Wildfire restaurant located in Perimeter centre near the Perimeter mall serves American cuisine and southern specialties. The extensive menu features broiled steaks and chops, wood-roasted seafood and roasted meats, all prepared in an open kitchen. Signature dishes include Horseradish Crusted Filet Mignon, Macadamia Nut Crusted Halibut, Wildfire Chopped Salad and Cedar Planked Salmon. It is also well popular for the Wine List, Martini and Mojito lounge.
The appetizers include cheese fondue with vegetables, fried Calamari and onion soups are really worth the try. The cornbread they serve for all the customers is very delicious and can be devoured while we wait for the main course.
The main course mainly has Fish, Steak Sandwiches , Chops and the popular ones being Filet Mignon that are melt in mouth delicious and fresh catch Halibut which is grilled to perfection. Wildfire Whole wheat pizza is one of the best pizzas that I had in a while. The pizza made with chicken, wild mushrooms, caramelized onions, and Asiago cheese is very delicious. The crust was airy and chewy and the sweetness from the caramelized onions best complimented the pizza.
Chicken dishes mainly include herd crusted and roasted chicken but the focus of the menu is mainly steaks and chops, although weekdays they serve country fried chicken and mashed potatoes for lunch. The restaurant has many kid friendly menus and they cater the needs to Gluten allergy.
The whole dining experience can come within 50$, this restaurant can be suggested for a special occasion, romantic dinner or for a party. Reservations is a must on a typical Friday evening as the waiting time can be more than 25-30 min.Overall ambiance is good and recommend to anybody who is looking to have nice dinner on special occasions and business lunch.
