Dunwoody is located inside the perimeter of metropolitan Atlanta, and part of the North DeKalb County, Dunwoody is the place where Williamsburg-style architecture originated with the construction of the Dunwoody Village shopping center and this architecture is followed by many businesses in the Area. Dunwoody offers many dining and eating options which includes The Dunwoody Tavern which is across the street from Dunwoody village, Mudcatz Bayou Bar & Grill which hosts top musical talent and Mellow Mushroom which offers delicious Pizza.

Perimeter Mall which is located in Dunwoody is home to over 200 stores with four anchor stores: Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, Nordstrom and Dillard’s. When you’ve stressed after hours of shopping dine at Goldfish, Maggiano’s Little Italy, The Cheesecake Factory, Hudson Grill, Season’s 52, my favorite place for cedar-plank salmon and Wildfire Grill. Two other shopping areas are close by. Perimeter Place, a mixed-use development built by Sembler, is home to Super Target, Office Max, Verizon and plenty of restaurants to choose from including Panera Bread, Tin Drum, Cheese Burger in Paradise, Taco Mac, Shane’s Rib Shack and many more.

Dunwoody is well connected with downtown Atlanta through MARTA -Atlanta’s public transportation system and with freeways.

Garcia's Mexican Restaurant

Garcia's offers fine Mexican cuisine served in a comfortable, friendly setting.The chips come fast, and they are dry and warm, and the salsa is good, fresh, full of cilantro and pretty spicy. The menu includes fresh seafood, aged steaks, poultry, pastas and more and the menu changes daily at McCormick & Schick’s Seafood Restaurant.

The Attached bar offers an extensive and affordable selection of appetizers is on the Bar Menu. The interior features rich wood paneling, stained glass and hand-crafted chandeliers. McCormick also offers beautiful lake front patio outdoor seating during warm summer days.

Dunwoody Tavern

Ye Olde Dunwoody Tavern located off Ashford-Dunwoody Road and the food is pretty good and extends beyond simple bar fare. They have a nice little outdoor patio. The menu includes Grande Nachos, chicken Quesada, Lamb Tikka, Asian Steak Tips, and Irish Spring Rolls. The main course includes STEAK AND ALE PIE which has Tender chunks of beef and mushrooms braised in Bass Ale and red wine with onions, garlic and rich gravy. Topped with fresh pastry baked golden brown and IRISH STEW which has Tender filet tips braised in a rich Guinness and mushroom sauce with carrots,

Old Hickory House

Old Hickory House is one of the fine eatery offers delicious steak and Brunswick stew is one of the item most sought after by customers and offers southern style breakfast with lots of choices.

Mexico City Gourmet

One of the good restaurants in dunwoody chamblee area and them hosts live music on weekends and menu includes Chicken Quesedillas, Chile Rellenos and Fajitas.
