In the Studio loft development in the heart of the Old Fourth Ward, Serpas True Food offers contemporary Southern cuisine in a hip, urban environment. Inside Serpas you will find an expansive mural of a cotton blossom which pays homage to the building's history as a cotton warehouse. Raw brick walls, relaxed lighting and a large patio with city views create a relaxing dining space. Founder and executive chef, Scott Serpas, explores his Louisiana roots on the restaurant's eclectic menu. Start your meal with Serpas' fabulous flash-fried oysters or reinvented "Pigs in a Blanket." Entrees like Grilled Tenderloin Tips and Gulf Shrimp are complemented by the Southern sides you would expect, creamy grits and collard greens. The restaurant also offers a fabulous Sunday brunch.

With a New Orleans style and atmosphere, Parish boasts a full-service restaurant, market, coffee bar and bakery. A beautifully restored 1890 building, original exposed brick walls, tin ceilings and crown molding create an old-fashioned, relaxing atmosphere. Dine upstairs on Southern American classics like cornmeal-crusted Georgia trout or Cracklin' Pork Shank. Duck under brick archways in the downstairs market where you can grab a po' boy, or sit and enjoy a glass of wine on the lovely outdoor patio. Make sure to pick up some of Parish's fresh-baked croissants on your way out the door. Note that the restaurant opens at later hours than the market.
